Preservation & Education
We are a nonprofit organization committed to preserving, interpreting and sharing the human history of geographic area known as the Huntley Project. Our emphasis is on the homesteading era from the late 1800's thru the early 1900's including the technology and history of irrigated agriculture in the northern Great Plains. We carry out our mission by creating collections, undertaking preservation, interpretation, exhibits, demonstration, research, publishing and educational programming. We seek to involve the community. Combining education, experience and fun we strive to increase understanding of the rural environment and agricultural life.
