Schedule of events for 2019 Civil War Live!

Thursday & Friday May 9th & 10th, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Designated as student days, but anyone can come! There will be educational stations with historians dressed in period correct clothing & uniforms. Educational Stations - 1. Life of a civil war soldier, 2. Cavalry soldier & horse, 3. Civil war medicine, 4. Sutler, 5. Wagons West, 6. Artillery -- Live firing of period correct guns, bow and arrow and a Cannon!
Thursday evening, May 9th 5:30 - 8:30 - Cast Iron Cooking Class with Tiea Vaughn. Learn how to cook with cast iron over an open campfire. (This class is full)
Friday evening, May 10th, 5 - 7:30 p.m. - Cannon Class (This class is full) Limited to 10 adults 18 & over. Learn how to load & fire a period correct cannon! This class includes dinner with the historians.
7:30 - 9 p.m. - Night firing demonstration - includes the cannon! Open to the public.

Saturday, May 11th, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Designated to the public!

9 a.m. Presentation about Private Deal, a civil war soldier buried in the Huntley Cemetery.
11 a.m. Native American “Fashion Show” Learn about clothing of the natives, the history, the purpose, the making.

Educational stations, live firing of period correct guns, bow and arrow and a Cannon.

Andy’s Famous Wood fired Pizza will be available Friday night & Saturday!
